7. Everyone must wash their own dishes, failure to do so will result in your having to wash
all the dishes, pots and pans the following day.
8. No borrowing anything. It's fine to offer, but never to ask.
9. Everyone is subject to periodic urinalysis. Group urinalysis called for by New Life will
be at no charge. Individual urinalysis will be paid by the member.
10. Each member will be assigned daily house chores.
11. Lock doors, turn off lights and appliances when leaving or going to bed if not being used.
12. Personal bath items will be kept in your own room, not in the bathroom. Items left in bathroom will be considered fair game.
13. With the exception of emergencies, no phone calls will be accepted after midnight.
14. Sex is your business, just don't do it on New Life premises.
15. The keeping of a pet will be decided by a majority vote of the members.
16. Dinner is served Monday through Friday. You are expected to be here unless prior arrangements have been made.
17. You are expected to be in by midnight unless prior arrangements have been made.
18. House meetings are held weekly and attendance is mandatory unless you are working.
19. You are issued a house key only after being voted in.
20. To respect member's anonymity, no information is to be given out about anyone.
21. To avoid misunderstandings, questions or suggestions are to be directed to New Life staff only.
22. No member shall enter the room of another member without being invited.
23. After midnight, the doors are locked; no one is to be admitted without house manager's approval. House members have keys and would not need to be let in.
Upon entering New Life you agree to follow our policies and procedures. All of these have been voted in by the membership over the years and are simply consideration of others. New Life is a democracy, with each member having one vote. This includes the staff.
1. NO ALCOHOL OR OTHER DRUGS
2. An A.A. or N.A. meeting must be attended every day for 30 days with a minimum of 4 meetings per
week after that.
3. Pick up after yourself, keep your bed made and
your room clean.
4. No guests in bedrooms, you must accompany your
guest at all times.
5. Keep TV and other noise to a minimum after 11:00
PM.
6. No laundry shall be left in washer or dryer.
